Here are the other two pages we did for my monthly scrapbooking pages (March). I used all Stampin Up products on these two pages. Loved how they turned out. I am still getting page ideas from other stampers but I always change it up before it is all over with. Can't help it - there are so many cool things you can add to a page. Like I have said before, I absolutely adore the Circle Circus stamp set that I used on the background of the Splish Splash page. This page can used for bath tub time or for swimming photos. And if you move around like I used to, the HOME page is a neat way to document what you now call home. I love my home.

Dear Spring........

Dear Spring: Please hurry the hell up - I miss you.

I just absolutley LOVE this scrapbook page. I got the idea from another crafter and for the life of me, can't remember who. I look at so many a day. I live in Winter Park, Colorado - about 9200 feet above see level, in the Rocky Mountains. Spring here is defined as some snow, no buds and lots of snowmelt which leads to lot of mud. Thus why we call it Mudseason. We can't plant our flowers until after Father's Day (June) or they will die. Believe me, I have tried. So, in honor of Spring, I created this fun page - Dear Spring. My monthly scrapbook girls loved it. It was not an easy page to do but it allowed for a lot of individual creativity. Now I just need to go out and take some photos of trees with no buds, snow melting, and maybe a few deer in my yard (can you believe about 100!).

Here Comes the Easter Bunny!

It is a very special time of year when that cute, fuzzy, adorable little white bunny come hopping around hiding Easter eggs and filling up baskets. This month I held my first young girl (9-11 year olds) stamp club. It was tons of fun. I originally scheduled the club for two hours and realized quickly that it was going to be well over 3 before we completed all three projects! I have a little 4 year old boy so I am not used to 3 hours filled with nonstop giggling. It was truly an experience - one that I enjoyed! Next time, we will replace the cupcakes with tons of turkey. Hee hee. Anyhoo, we did 3 really cute projects all Easter related. I am posting only two as the third project we decorated Easter eggs with the Stampin Up Eggcellent Eggs Kit (SOLD OUT).

The two cards were fun to make. The flower card was inspired by one of my favorite bloggers, Dawn McVey of My Favorite Things. She uses the most unsual color combos on her projects - thus encouraging me to try something out of my comfort zone. I love the way this card turned.

The second card was challenging for the girls. They could not stop eating the candy! This is my first attempt at a punch project. Busy. Busy with life. Between work, school, husband and 4 year old, training for Avon walk, and moving family around I have not had much time for crafting. What is up with that? Well, my hubby and I have spent much needed alone time the past two days and guess where we are going tonight!!!????? Give you a hint:

Can you say "yum yum". My darling husband got me 17th row tickets. Should be loads of fun. So, I will not be crafting tonight either but will be soon as I have a stamp camp and Little Girl Stamp Club this weekend.............

Using Decor Stencils......

for scrapbooking pages! What a great idea! Normally, these stencils are used for wall or furniture decor but I thought it would be cool to use as a background for a scrapbooking page. So, for the second scrapbook page for my monthly scrapbooking class, I created this vintage looking page to honor my mother. I layed the stencil over the Kraft 12 x 12 cardstock and gently sponged the Pink Passion first. Then I moved the stencil slightly down, while still exposing some parts of the already sponged Pink Passion part and gently sponged over with the Old Olive. I did the same procedure for the opposite corner. For the other two corners I just doubled stamped the images with Pink Passion and Old Olive, stamped the flower on Very Vanilla and cut out. I intend to go back and journal something about my mom. So................what do you think?

Been awhile since I used Stampin' UP's Simply Scrappin Kits for my scrapbook class...........and I missed them so! This particular page, I am using the Love Sparkles. I forgot how easy it is to create a page with just the items provided in the kit. The only other thing I used was the Schoolbook Serif stamp set and Chocolate Chip ink. CPS 154 Part 2

I just love the Card Positioning Systems swketch challenge. This is my second time creating a card for the sketch and the challenge makes me use brain cells I have not used in awhile. Hooray for neurons! Can you tell I just completed my Anatomy/Physiology class?

So, this is my card for the challenge. Do you like it? I do. I used my favorite DSP called Sweet Pea from Stampin Up's Occasion Mini Catalog. I need to purchase another as the Mini is about to be history come April 30,. YIKES! Then what will I use? I am sure Stampin UP will have some adorable new DSP paper in its Summer Mini but I want to make sure I have plenty of Sweet Pea. Look at all the cute paper within Sweet Pea. Hello - The Happy Card

Wow - what a crazy weekend. I had my sister, her hubby, 13 year old daughter, and two little sons up for the weekend. Love having her come for a visit as she does not come that often. She is afraid of driving over the pass to get here. It can be a little scary but if your drive it all the time it is not so bad. Had a fun filled weekend just no time for stamping..........

Here is a very cute card I did for my stamp club this month. I have had this DSP paper forever and have not used it until now. It was a huge hit with the girls. I love it. These little flowers just make me happy. Having a bad day then I look at these little cuties and I am happy. Not that I have bad days all the time. I don't. This card is perfect for a workshop as some of your workshoppers may be new to stamping. I cut out the little butterfly and used a dimentional to pop it out.

Hope to do some challenges this week since I do not have a club to prepare for this week........

The Man Card

I call this card The Man Card. I had a hard time making this card. For one, I need to build up my supplies....need more of everything! So, figuring out the color scheme was interesting. But the end product turned out great. Does it look like a card for a man? I think so.........I love the Circle Circus stamp set. So versatile. Love that word too......versatile. I tend to make numerous pretty, fluffy cards perfect for women and sometimes forget about our good men out there. Need to show them how much we love and appreciate them. I am married to a wonderful man. Not just saying that. He is an amazing dad. Sometimes I think he does more than me when it comes to our 4 year old. Anywhoo, this card is for the men out there. Life Happens - Contest!

I changed it up a bit by using Kraft paper, different ink colors and adding the Medallion in the background. I really like this card. Not my usual style and that is why is appeals to me this week...............I need some simplicity right now. Beautiful, yet simple. I am aiming for the vintage look here. This one was so much fun to do..........got this little boy scrapbooking kit on sale at Target. Could not resist as I teach a scrapbooking class every month. Avon Walk for Breast Cancer

Friend to Friend - Colour Q Challenge #17

As you can see I am really trying to post something new every day. I really like sketch and color challenges. Therefore, I am creating as fast as my busy schedule will allow. Today is my birthday so I took half the day off. And I am spending that very quiet time stamping. Yea me! Tonight my hubby is making me sushi and my friend Mandy is bringing white cake with white icing. Yummy.

This colour challenge looked fabulous to me until I tried creating a card using the colors. It was hard for me to combine the two blues for some reason......but I guess that is why they call it a challenge, right? So, here it is..........I did not have Taken with Teal so I substituted Bermuda Bay. Other supplies used include:

Mojo Monday 123

So, I just got Circle Circus stamp set in the mail and I have totally fallen in love with this set! When I first saw it in the catalog, it did nothing for me. Then I started seeing cards using the set and thought to myself "I should get that set". There are 10 stamps in that set! I love it. So, when I decided to take on Mojo Monday 123, I knew I was going to use it. And here it is: I used the adorable Sweet Pea DSP paper from the Stampin Up Mini Occasions catalog. So Saffron, Whisper White, Kraft and Pumpkin Pie cardstock were used as well as the Scallop Edge punch, Pumpkin Pie striped ribbon and linen thread. The saying comes from the Herb Expressions stamp set. I think it turned out pretty cute!

I just realized as I was going through my scrapbook pages on my blog, that I did not upload the cutest one of all from November.........here it is. Although it has a fall theme to it, you can use the layout for any season or theme. Let me know if you need directions on how to layer the strips. After many tries, I finally figured out the easiest way to do it.

I just got my order in from Stampin Up!!! Love delivery day. I decided this year I would be lazy (not really) but thought it would be fun to order these Love Bots for my son's Valentine give-a-ways in his preschool class. Look how cute they are! Of course I have yet to put one together as I had to rush off to work this morning but I can't wait to get home and do them. All you need to complete them is time. Folds and holds together with stickers provided, so no extra adhesive. I thought about ordering the personlized stamp with Davis' name on it but I thought it would be better if he "signed" his own name as he just learned how to do it and it is so darn cute. Now I need to figure out what to put in these boxes........candy of course. I am all about candy for the holidays.

January Scrapbooking Camp

After a month off, my group of scrapbookers decided to get back in to the groove. I am really excpted about this month's scrapbook pages. Wow - it is 2010. Can't believe it. I have so much planned for this year! Family just left town and now I can settle back in to a routine. Work, family, stamping, school and friends. Oh how I love Christmas time

I do love this time of the year. Makes me so happy. But I am not looking forward to January - when we get the credit card bill. Oops. Hee hee. Naw - love January too. It is my birthday month!

I have lots planned for January. Not going to slow down at all. Well, I am right now. Just taking it all in. Teaching myself how to cross-stitch. I know....not so difficult now is it.......

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and Holiday season with friends and family. Enjoy every moment. Take lots of pictures and be grateful for everything you have. I am.

I received a copy of the new mini catalog from Stampin Up and as a demonstrator, I was able to preorder. I finally decided what I wanted (the entire catalog!) and ordered my goodies the other day. It should be delivered tomorrow!!! Can't wait to create adorable, cute projects with my new stuff! Will post when I do!

Going to my 3 year olds Christmas party at lunch today. Santa is coming. He is so excited. I love to watch his face when he sees Santa.

December Stamp Club

Happy happy happy holiday! What a beautiful white Christmas it is going to be! I love the snow. We went with some friends to the Christmas Fair in Georgetown yesterday and it was like a movie. White fluffy snow, reindeer, Santa, carolers, bagpipes, quaint little stores, roasted chestnuts......and a lovely lunch at The Tea Room. It was wonderful! My favorite time of the year.

Anyhoo, we had our monthly stamp club on Thursday night. It was loads of fun and we did some really cute projects: holiday card, gift card, and a bag-n-a- box. I have attached photos of the card and bag/box. Ya'll have already seen my gift card posted at an earlier date. I am also posting a couple of cute Christmas projects. I had some left over DSp paper curls that I did for my wreaths and thought I would make a Christmas tree out of it. Bought a styrofoam tree from Michaels and attached the curls with sewing pins. The blue snowflake purse/box is a gift from my wonderful upline, Ms Susan Kauber. She stuffed it with the best smelling tea lights. She will kill me b/c I can't remember the name of that company..........anyhoo....Thanks Susan!

Wow. What a crazy time! No time to breath but trying. Went Christmas shopping all day yesterday with two of my dearest friends, Mandy and Romina. We left at 8am and did not get back from Denver until 9pm. Just us. It was great! Got it all done. But still have to do all the homemade stuff. This week is crazy! Got my monthly stamp club, a cookie baking party, Santa visit, a jewlry party to go to and then going to Georgetown for a Christmas fair. YIKES!!!! Tis the season. Anyhoo. Here is the card I created and made for my regular 40 hour job. We are sending out about 100 and they are complete and mailed out. Yea! Quite lovely and simple. Busy as a Christmas Bee!

Busy time of the year and I love it! We just need a little more snow to make it perfect. That is why I live in the mountains - snow makes a cozy, fluffy holiday season. I have been busy making 100's of homemade Christmas cards for my day job. Talked my boss into letting me do them if he bought the supplies. I think it adds a personal touch to our holiday cards going out to a vendors and home owners. Don't you? I will post that cutey tonight so you can see. I have also been working on a Christmas card for our demo swap we are having Thursday night. Local demos getting together to talk and celebrate the season. I will post that one as well. Too cute. each card I create gets better and better. By looking at some of these cards, you would think I was artistic. I'm not. Stampin Up just makes it so easy!

Funny story: last night I started Davis' first advent calendar/book. The calendar goes with a little bear book, you read a story page per night. Davis (he is 3) looked at me like I was crazy! It was so cute. Another idea, is to wrap 24 Christmas books and let your child open one a night to read.

Holiday Advent Calendar

This was another idea I got from the Stampin Up Convention - the advent calendar. The back layer is 12x12 card stock (choc chip) and the envelope pockets are the Big Shot Bitty Box and Envelope die - one envelope per day. Each day is filled with something the entire family must do together (or Santa will not come to visit....). This advent calendar is really neat b/c each year, you can change the contents of the envelopes around or make new ones. If interested, I can send you one for $20 + shipping. Looks so cute hanging on my wall - Davis likes to count the days....over and over and over and over.....

After Jess left last night (see post below), I kepted on working and created a few more gift card holders to sell this weekend. Although I used retired DSP from Stampin Up on the first two, they turned out rather cute. I love the Thank You one.............reminds me of my mom. The third one is DSP paper in our Holiday Mini - G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S. That one was inspired by the works of Mary Fish. She usually uses two colors, simple and clean. I am almost finished making my advent calendar, so I hope to post it tonight.

My friend Lou made fun of me that I took photos of my projects directly on my carpet so this time I improvised and put cardstock under them. Does look better. Thanks Lou! Anyhoo, my good friend Jess came over last night to help me knock out some projects for the artisan fair this weekend and look what we did - these cute Santa Claus tags. I cased them off of someone but can't remember who - from one of the links I list here on my blog. I will dig through and figure it out. Have a feeling I am going to need more of these......... Now these are to die for!!! Got this idea from one of my favorite demos, Angie Juda. These are gift card holders - I mean - who doesn't give at least one person a gift card for the holidays?? I do. And if you put them in this cute little package it is even better! I am selling these and many others at the Holiday Artisan Fair at Fraser Elementary School this Saturday (10am-4pm). If you live afar - let me know if you are interested in purchasing a few and I can send them your way............or tell you how to make them......

Working for the Weekend....

LOVED LOVED LOVED that song........one group (Loverboy) that I missed seeing way back when. Well, I am always working for the weekend. I am lucky that although I work full time, I do get Friday off. Can't remember what I did without a 3 day weekend. My boys are going to be gone this weekend so I can totally focus on stamping and the holiday artisian fair next weekend at Fraser Elementary. Got so much to do!!!! Post some projects for the fair as soon as I complete them.....

November Stamp Club

It's Sunday and the boys are out at the park. I just took my Anatomy/Physiology test so now I can play a little bit before they get home. So, the two cards are the Christmas cards we will be doing for my November Stamp Club. It is going to be crazy as we have 25 girls coming and we reserved a private dining room at Brickhouse 40. It is Jessica's birthday. So food, cake, and fun!

The concept for the two cards came from a couple of samples I saw on Splitcoasters. I just love the Medallion stamp. I think it represents pure elegance. So many ways you can use it. The Merry Christmas card is simple yet beautiful. I love the straight lines and the two colors. Listed below are the supplies I used for each card. They are easy to make and would make wonderful Holiday cards:

Whew!

Well, I was out of it all week. Had the swine flu - H1N1 - whatever you call it. Was out on my back the entire week. Having a week at home, sick or not, I thought I would get some stamping done. Ugh...................no. Flat on my back for a week. But I survived. David nor Davis got it........how I do not know. But I am back in the saddle this week and ready to show you some good stuff. This month is CRAZY with Stamp Club, Scrapbooking Class, and an Artisan Holiday Fair at the elementary school. Will be posting projects and fun stuff all month so stay tuned!

Halloween Treat

My husband is laughing at me. He is this huge computer geek and therefore speaks a language I do not understand. Just show me how to do something once, then I can do it again and again. Don't try to explain it all to me. Just show me. Anyhoo, I completed my 3 year old's Halloween treats for his friends and classmates. I love it! Simple yet cute. The box was created from the Big Shot Bigz xl Die Bitty Box. I had some left voer Kiwi Kiss cardstock I needed to use up. Made the box out of that. Laced it up with the Old Olive Grosain Stripe ribbon and stamped Little Boo stamp in White Craft, embossed it and punched with the circle scallop. Tah Dah! Filled with yummy Halloween candy and it is all ready to go. Hope the children enjoy it!

Scrapbooking Class - October

I am in happy land. At home. Just at supper and sitting around with my family. David is playing the matching game with Davis so I could prepare for my scrapbooking class tomorrow. I am so excited! I have 7 girls coming. First month I had 2. Second month I had 4. And this month I have 7! It has been going very well. As I promised, here are the projects we are going to create tomorrow night. Just a scrappin'

Boy! What a game last night. Love it when the Broncos play like that. And ya know.....I am really digging the uniforms. I want them to wear the brown all the time. Very basic and not as glamorous. Reminds me of the good ole days when football was all about playing and not being a bigshot. Anyhoo, as I was watching the game with my HB and Davis, I worked on this month's scrapbooking projects. We are doing (4) 12 x 12 pages, as usual. This month's themes will be halloween, back to school and pumpkin patch/carving. Still working on them so you can't see them just yet. But they are CUTE. I also worked on a Christmas wreath that is made of Stampin' UP Designer Series Paper - I am going to sell these at the local holiday craft fair next month. You will get a taste of those here in the next few days as well. Well, must get back to work. Real work. Not fun work. Pray for my friend, Lou. She has the swine flu. Poor thing.

We Wish You a Merry Christmas, We Wish You a ....

Today, I had a Christmas Card Camp at my house and boy was it fun! I had over 15 girls at the house! I made some yummy white bean chili (thanks Susan!) and everyone settled in for a good time. The goal was to make at least 21 cards from the Stampin Up Simply Scrappin Kit CHRISTMAS JINGLE. That kit is so cool and so beautiful. I had some photos of sample cards for anyone to copy and most did at first. But then the creative juices started flowing and everyone started making up their own designs. The cards turned out great and everyone had a great time. Hello fellow earthlings. I am finally posting the card I created for World Card Making Day way back on October 5. I really did something out of my comfort zone. I decided to look through the Stampin' UP catalog and pick a stamp set that I would NEVER purchase - either not my taste or I just didn't like it. Well, I pick GREETINGS EARTHLING out of the Growing Up section and look how cute this card turned out!!!! I cased the idea from Stamping by Michelle on Splitcoaststampers and modified it a bit. Used Black, White and Bermuda Bay. I think it is darling. Not my usual card and that is what I like about it! Let me know if you would like directions on how to do...........

Okay. So, studying did get in the way this week. Had a very difficult couple of chapters and I am still studying.........heart and circulatory system. I have read and read until I am blue in the face. Just want to take the lab quiz and test so I can play. And play I will! Starting tonight, I am working on my scrapbooking pages for camp next week. They are going to be so cute! This Sunday I have my Christmas card camp - got 14 girls coming! Fun! Well, back to work. This is going to be a very crafty weekend..........I can feel it!

Work, Stamping and Studying.........

Wow. It has been a few days. Need my blog fix. Started class on Monday (prereqs for nursing school) and just trying to get back into the groove of studying every day. But do not worry. I am still 100% devoted to stamping and scrapbooking. I study on my lunch break and take a couple of tests each weekend. No biggie. Anywho....we celebrated World Card Making Day in the community by hostessing an stamping event on Sunday. 6 Stampin' Up demonstrators created a card and opened it up to the community. Had a great turnout. It was loads of fun. I will post my creation tonight. Decided to think out side the box on this one. Details to come. Well, happy stamping!

Sorry - no digital scrapbooking pages yet. Thank the Lord, SU extended the printing deal date to the 9th for demonstrators. The program kept telling me I needed two more pages........but it was midnight last night by the time I took a breather and I HAD to go to bed as I have a daytime job and Davis usually wakes up around 6am. 6 hours of sleep is NOT enough for me. Anyhoo, I have been so busy preparing for this Sunday's World Card Making event we are hosting at the Granby Community Center. Fun Fun. Looking forward to it. Not only did I have to kit (cool term I picked up from Jennifer's Blog) for 50 cards, but I now have to create door prizes. AND I have stamp club tomorrow night. Lots to do. But I love it. I like to wait until Davis is asleep before stamping. Don't want to take time away from him b/c ya know........he's only a little one for so long. So in the upcoming days, I promise to post some projects that I have been working on.

My Digital Studio is Awesome!

Am I still allowed to say 'awesome'? Got My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up last week and finally, yesterday, got the chance to play with it. Spent two hours and did an entire 22 page 8x8 album of our family trip to Mexico! 2 hours! And it is all Stampin' Up paper, stamps, punches, embellishments which you can switch out. It was so easy, Davis helped me out! Just need to add some journaling to each page and WHAM BAM THANK YOU MAM' I can get it printed (Stampin' UP partnered up with a printing company to ensure the final product has the same color pallets as SU) and have the book in my hands to show everyone in a few days. This is my first attempt at digital scrapbooking, so I am anxious to see the final product. Not that I will ever stop scrapbooking by hand...........but this will be nice addition to my crafting gig.

For the Summer 2 page spread I used the Stampin' UP Simply Scrappin Kit - Petal Party. Although I used if for summer - you could use it for fall as well with those colors. For the You & Me page, I used a retired Stampin' Up Simply Scrappin Kit that was on sale for demonstrators - Sorry ya'll but I could not resist the colors and paper. Too perty. Hmmmm......what happened to Fall?

It snowed yesterday. It was September 21 and it snowed all day. Today is September 22 and it is snowing today as well. What happened to fall? Should I skip making fall cards and gifts? I don't think so. I just purchased the Season of Friendship tree from Stampin' Up. Can't wait to do a card with it.......or even a scrapbook page. I was single momming it over the weekend and did find time to purchase an additional bookshelf for my stamps and paper. I put it together myself and it looks great. Now I have more room to fill with stampin stuff! My husband and I share "office" space. I have one side of the room with a huge armoire, desk that comes out of it, an extra desk and now the bookshelf. My husband actually drew and imaginary line across the room and told me NO STAMPING STUFF ON HIS SIDE. Thought that was hilarious so every now and then I hide a stamp set on his side just to poke at him. Any hoo.......I am working on my scrapbook pages for this week's scrapbooking class. Going to be cute! Will post soon. Have a happy snow day!

Bath Hardware and Fall

Boy am I high on stamping. that is ALL I think about and I have no time to do it. Maybe that is why I think about it all the time. All of these ideas going around in my head. Love checking out other blogs and getting ideas. So fun. Today, I am at work. Working on a bath hardware order. Fun fun. As I look outside, I see that fall is here......the aspens are turning yellow and orange. So beautiful. Early this year. Maybe that means snow will be early too. Already thinking about Halloween. Love booking up the calendar. Anyway. Hope to do some stamping tonight. Got some Thank you cards to do for Miss Sally.

Holy Crapola!

I know.....it has been a few days....my bad. I have been so busy getting ready for the Parade of Homes (I work for a custom home builder as a day job). Although I did have Stamp Club last week, I did not get to stamp for fun at all last week. Plan to change that tonight as I am going to work on my project for Scrapbooking Class next week. I have so many ideas and techniques I want to try running through my head.....round n round.........round n round. I was pretty excited to hit my Stampin Start goal the first 3 months! I still don't see how anyone can sell 12k in 3 months! Holy crapola! Must not work 40 hours a week and have a 3 year old? Dream world: still have the 3 year old but get to stamp all day long.

Anyway. I must say something about this Kanye West outburst on the MTV video awards last night. I did not see but of course it was all over the news. If you did not see, beautifully dressed Taylor Swift won Best Female Video of the year....and during her speech, Kanye West went up on stage and took the mic from her and then proceeded to say that Beyonce had the best video ever.........who was also nominated...........Taylor Swift, poor thing was speechless. I think I could have found a few things to say to him but she is young. And sweet probably. Kanye was booed off the stage and now is all over the news. Beyonce handled it very well and later won Best Video of the Year.....and then asked Taylor Swift to come up and finish her speech. What a jerko. That is my say for the day.

What Day is Today?

I am at work. Real work. No fun work. Rather be at home stamping. Crazy weekend in Estes Park and Colorado Springs. Hope everyone had a great last summer weekend. Summer is over? What day is today? I am at work getting ready for the Parade of Homes. Busy, busy. Hope to post some items soon.............if time permits this week. I do have the monthly Stamp Club on Thursday, so looking forward to that! Don't get me wrong. I love being with my husband (what is the abbreviation everyone uses for husbands? HB? Honey Bunny? DH? Darling Husband? I can't remember. Love being with my adorable son, Davis. I will have to post a photo of them. But I always need my stamp and girl time. Hope things slow down with life in the fall. Do you think it will?

Once a month, I get together with 8 other gals and we create cards, 3D projects or a scrappage. This month we are focusing two of the projects on Halloween and one project on the Build A Bear. Mommy & Me Class Project

I had a really great turn out for my Mommy & Me Class this week. Mommies brought their "me"s and they created 3 projects specially for Grandma and Grandpa as Grandparent's Day is the 13th. Of course the children ran around with their heads cut off and the mommies got to sit down and do the projects. I am posting one of the projects as it is my favorite.

In our Holiday Mini Catalog this year (came out September 1 and good thru January 4), Stampin' Up teamed up with Build A Bear and created these adorable stamps, paper and die cuts. Now, I am not one to go for the cute and fuzzy look but these stamps are sooooooooo cute that I could not resist. Just look at it! I used the following items on this card:

Beary Best Friends stamp set, Beary Nice Wishes stamp set, DSP Pawsitively Prints, Old Olive and Pretty in Pink Ribbon, White cardstock, Kraft cardstock and Chocolate Chip stamp pad. YOU can't tell from the photo but the balloon is cut out and stuck on with a dimential. I colored the bear/dress with Stampin' Up Pastel Chalks.

Thank You Card for Contest Winner

OMG! I love this card. Simple, yet chic. Here is the Thank You card that will be in a set of 5 with envelopes for the FOLLOWER winner. If you have no clue what I am talking about, scroll down for contest details. It ends tomorrow night. Now - so you ask, Tracey, how did you make this lovely card. I used my all time favorite card stock, KRAFT. It is so versatile (thank God they have spell check on here), you can use it with any color! I also used Real Red and White card stock - all from Stampin' Up. The stamp set I used was one of the hostess sets in the new Catalog called Arte Oriental. Thought I would step out on a limb with that one and boy did I! I accidentally ordered the Spanish version. Hee hee. I used The new IN color Soft Suede and Real Red marker for the stamping and the ribbon is Soft Suede. The THANK YOU stamp, is a very old retired stamp from Stampin' Up that I love b/c it is in cursive. So, keep drooling over the card - got 10 followers as of today and one of you is the lucky lucky winner!

Scrapbook Project #2

This was the second project I did for the scrapbooking class. Used the Stampin' Up DSP The Write Stuff.........had to add 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock paper as we did this as a progressive scrapbook page, which was my first. When I first heard of a progressive scrapbook page, I thought it was senseless to go to all that trouble. But that is the point. It makes scrapbooking easy and less intimidating. This one was a hit and I want to do more like it.

This was the first project I did for my first Stampin' Up scrapbooking class - Love it! I used the HAPPY B-DAY Simply Scrappin Kit and it was so cotton pickin easy.....the girls loved it and so did I. I just researched online for layouts, started with that and then ended up going all over the place. I wanted to show the girls how easy it can be and it was!

I taught my first scrapbooking class last night and it was great! I promise to post the projects in the next few days. This computer does not have the photos on it. I stayed home today with a sick 3 year old. Bad cold. Hopefully, that is all it is. I did manage to do quite a bit of stamping today. Getting ready for my Mommy & Me Class on Thursday night. Doing 3 projects for Grandparent's Day (Sept. 13). Can't forget about the grandparents. I am really excited b/c I have 5 mommies coming with their girls. Still trying to decide what to "cook" for supper that evening.........I have so much to do and so little time. All I want to do is stamp. And stamp. I think my friends are tired of me talking about stamping - I only talk about it to those who love it as much though. Well, off to play good guys, bad guys with my son. Have a wonderful evening.

Can't believe I finally did it. I started a blog. I just got back from Stampin Up Convention in Salt Lake and boy am I motivated to let everyone know how fun stamping is! Although I am pooped, need to unpack, do laundry, plan this week...............stamping is all I want to do. I am an addict.

Anyhow. I am hoping to post projects here soon............I will admit, I get inspired by others but my end product never seems to look like theirs. Hee hee. Keep checking my post for ideas, challenges, deals, but be patient as I am brand, spankin new at this. Talk to you soon!
